Hold on to your hats (or should that be swimming caps) - La Baume’s water park is simply spectacular. Actually, make that two - there’s one at either end of this wonderfully landscaped and lively South of France parc. Think six pools, a lovely lagoon and a toddler-friendly zone to splash about in, in safety. Then add a fabulous array of four new waterslides and chutes, and imagine how much fun you can have. On dry (and sunny) land, you can enjoy activities from archery to tennis, with cycle hire also available, before winding down at one of two bars, a restaurant, or making the most of the takeaway on-parc. Need a pamper? Head straight to the parc's new wellness centre. There are some lovely beaches nearby, and in the evening, you can choose between live entertainment and the parc’s own disco. Just so you know, you may hear some road noise from some pitches.
